    Blavatnik Index of Public Administration to launch next month

    The Blavatnik Index of Public Administration will be published on 4 December 2024, towards the end of a year of elections which have put the workings of government firmly in the spotlight. Building on the success of the Index for Civil Service Effectiveness (InCiSE), this refreshed version of the project will broaden its perspective, aiming to be useful to a wider range of governments.

    Dapo Akande elected to the International Law Commission

    Dapo Akande, Professor of Public International Law, has been elected to the International Law Commission, a UN body for helping develop international law. He was jointly nominated by five countries – the UK, Japan, Kenya, Nigeria and Slovenia – the first time a candidate was supported by four different UN regional groups.
