biography

Prince was born in one of the poorest neighbourhoods in Cameroon's capital city. His early exposure to poverty, and the community commitment of his parents greatly influenced his viewpoint on life. Prince studied for a BA in Peace and Development studies at the Protestant University of Central Africa to leverage his knowledge to contribute to upholding vulnerable communities, and those affected by conflicts. This burning passion led Prince to work for Open Dreams as a programme facilitator, equalising the playing field for high academic achieving but low income students.

Prince led, co-founded movements and organisations, such as the Development & Emergency Relief Initiative where he served as Managing Director, and the Buea Global Shapers community, (an initiative of the World Economic Forum), where he served as Founding Curator. Prince is a 2022 YALI Regional Fellow. His policy interests are in equitable development.

Prince is a Mastercard Foundation Scholar under the Africa Oxford Initiative (AfOx).
