The first 100 days of a new government are crucial to establish priorities, build momentum, define political capital and set the public perception that can affect an administration’s success or failure.

Join renowned political scientist Professor Anand Menon as he moderates a dynamic panel discussion exploring the first 100 days of the new UK Labour government. Our expert panel will delve into key themes of the Labour government’s agenda, including promises and action on cyber resilience and state-sponsored attacks; plans for a defence strategy aimed at addressing current global threats and modernising the UK’s armed forces; the approach to trade as part of its broader economic and industrial agenda; public service reform, and government efforts to establish a more constructive relationship between ministers and officials, and the new government’s standard challenges.

Essential for anyone interested in UK politics, governance, and public policy.
