Thomas Hale, Associate Professor in Global Public Policy, discusses the launch of the Net Zero Tracker in episode 122 of Outrage + Optimism, a weekly podcast by Global Optimism.

Global Optimism is an organisation aimed at catalysing transformative actions. It was founded by Christiana Figueres and Tom Rivett-Carnac after leaving the UNFCCC, having secured the signing of the Paris Agreement by 195 countries.

In this episode, Tom explains how the Net Zero Tracker works and how it can create transparency that will lead to actually limiting global heating to 1.5C.
