biography
Trinidad is a policymaker deeply committed to improving educational opportunities through public policy and efficient institutional design. Drawing on her legal background and experience in the public sector, she has focused on improving the governance of the Chilean education system, reflecting local realities to deliver tangible improvements.
Previously, she served as Chief of Staff to the Undersecretary for Early Childhood Education in the Chilean government, where she was tasked with promoting systematic attendance and reducing the learning gap that the pandemic had exacerbated. As a research fellow at an independent research centre, Trinidad developed evidence-based proposals and coordinated a task force aimed at overhauling the institutional design of Chile’s public school system. She also founded and currently leads the Mipacareu Foundation, a non-profit organisation dedicated to fostering self-love and socio-emotional learning among students. Trinidad is a Luksic scholar.
