I am a political scientist from Nigeria. I hold a BSc in Political Science and Public Administration (First Class Honours) from University of Benin and an MSc in Political Science from University of Ibadan. I recently worked as the Research and Programme Manager at the Ibadan School of Government and Public Policy where I initiated and managed the research programmes of the school; worked with members of the school's think-tank; and co-ordinated the school's policy dialogues. My passion for knowledge production that will lead to measurable change within the society informed my voluntary internship experiences with the Nigerian Institute of Social and Economic Research and the United Nations Children's Fund; as well as my decision to join the Blavatnik School of Government. I am interested in social policies and how inequalities can be managed in human societies. Upon completion of the MPP Programme, I intend to return to Nigeria and work with a public sector-focused research institute.
