Sandro is a project management specialist with a background in independent media from Georgia, and has more than five years of experience managing donor-funded programmes across the Caucasus and Central Asia. His professional work has focused on supporting media development, expanding access to health services for rural communities during the Covid 19 pandemic, leveraging cultural initiatives to promote social values, and strengthening democratic institutions in complex political environments. Through these experiences, he has become increasingly interested in how alternative media ecosystems shape political behaviour and public trust and in how they can be harnessed to reinforce liberal democratic institutions, the rule of law, and scientific consensus rather than undermine them.
