Hailing from Indonesia, Laras is a Jakarta-based consultant with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and eight years of experience predominantly in the infrastructure development sector. Currently a manager within the Sustainable Infrastructure Advisory team at PwC Indonesia, Laras supports the Government of Indonesia at both central and local levels alongside international development partners like the UK FCDO, advising programmes and projects across all stages, from planning and preparation through to financing and implementation. Her primary policy interest lies in strengthening the upstream phases of infrastructure development, specifically ensuring that planning and preparation align with economic and climate targets. Additionally, Laras is focused on mobilising private capital and leveraging public private partnerships for infrastructure financing within emerging markets like Indonesia.
