Kris is originally from the US state of Michigan and has lived in Washington D.C. for about 20 years. His career has spanned roles in public sector institutions like the CIA, White House, and US Congress, and major companies like Meta and IBM. He has led research programmes at the intersection of technology and governance, and designed and operationalised AI-enabled initiatives to build more responsible, trusted technology.
