biography

Originally from Manchester, England, Brontë recently graduated from the London School of Economics. Alongside her studies, Brontë worked in the UK Houses of Parliament for two senior female politicians: Holly Lynch, formerly Labour’s Deputy Chief Whip, and Mary Creagh, the Minister for Nature, giving her a close-up view of the challenges women face in political life, whether online harassment or underrepresentation in decision-making spaces.

Brontë's policy interests are shaped by a commitment to advancing gender equality. From volunteering as a youth ambassador for the Women’s Equality Party to contributing to discussions on gender issues through Chatham House’s Common Futures Conversations programme, she is determined to push back against ‘strongman’ politics in favour of a more inclusive democracy. Brontë is a Political Leadership scholar.
