A new, self-paced version of ‘From Poverty to Prosperity: Understanding Economic Development’ has recently been made available.
The MOOC is led by the Blavatnik School’s Professor Sir Paul Collier, a globally renowned economist and author of ‘The Bottom Billion' and 'The Future of Capitalism'. Following three successful iterations which have seen over 65,000 individuals enrol, the course has now been adapted so that participants can register and start learning whenever it suits them and continue following the sessions in their own time, rather than having to keep a specific pace. It will remain free.
‘From Poverty to Prosperity: Understanding Economic Development’ is the first MOOC offered by the University of Oxford, and aims to help people understand how their community and country can flourish, wherever they are in the world.
