We are pleased to announce the publication of the Blavatnik School of Government 2014 Annual Report.
The 2013-2014 academic year has been characterized by exciting growth in the School and emerging evidence of impact in our teaching, research and engagement activities.
Our new building is now over a third of the way through its construction programme and making fast progress towards its target completion date in August next year. In anticipation of our move and ensuing growth, we've been through a major recruitment exercise for both new faculty posts and administrative positions. Our research portfolio is growing and gaining resonance with wider audiences. We’re expanding our teaching provision with a new DPhil programme that launches this autumn and more short courses for senior practitioners in the pipeline.
Particular achievements highlighted in the 2014 annual report are:
- The success of our efforts to pioneer ways to identify and recruit outstanding individuals with the energy, determination and integrity to make a difference.
- The swift uplift of our research programmes, especially as our faculty numbers grow and funding increases through grants and awards.
- The substantial increase in support for our students through scholarships and bursaries secured both by the School and students themselves.
- The expansion and deepening of our collaborative relationships with outstanding institutions from the public, private and not-for-profit sectors.
The report has been produced in both iBook and pdf formats for quick and easy electronic download.
