Gabriel Silva (MPP 2015) was elected to the Panama National Assembly. Gabriel ran as an independent candidate and was elected in the Panamá Province - circuito 8.7 constituency.
Edison Broce Urriola (MPP 2015), who was already a ‘diputado suplente’ (a substitute member of parliament), was also elected as an independent in the Panamá Province - circuito 8.8 constituency.
Edison and Gabriel were both Chevening Scholars.

Carlos Santiago Guzmán Gutiérrez, an alumnus of the Master of Public Policy and the MSc in Public Policy Research, has received the inaugural Michael Cichon Graduate Award for outstanding master’s thesis in Social Protection. The award recognises his MSc thesis, “Universal Social Protection Schemes in Forced Displacement Settings: Evidence from Colombia.”
