Soledad Nuñez Mendez (MPP 2018) has been officially elected as vice-presidential candidate for the 2023 general elections.
Soledad won by 59.25% of the votes in the Concertación Para un Nuevo Paraguay (Coalition for a New Paraguay). The coalition brings together all the opposition and independent parties of Paraguay and they will face the incumbent Colorado party in the general elections in April 2023.

Carlos Santiago Guzmán Gutiérrez, an alumnus of the Master of Public Policy and the MSc in Public Policy Research, has received the inaugural Michael Cichon Graduate Award for outstanding master’s thesis in Social Protection. The award recognises his MSc thesis, “Universal Social Protection Schemes in Forced Displacement Settings: Evidence from Colombia.”
