Diana Dajer (MPP 2014) has been appointed director of Colombia's Instituto de Estudios del Ministerio Público.
This academic institution, part of the Procuraduría General de la Nación (the equivalent of the Office of the Inspector General), generates research, creates training programmes and shares knowledge to improve the work of Colombia's public servants and their engagement with citizens. Carlos Santiago Guzmán Gutiérrez, an alumnus of the Master of Public Policy and the MSc in Public Policy Research, has received the inaugural Michael Cichon Graduate Award for outstanding master’s thesis in Social Protection. The award recognises his MSc thesis, “Universal Social Protection Schemes in Forced Displacement Settings: Evidence from Colombia.”
