Building A Research Community on Public Finance and Management

Preliminary steps towards establishing a community of researchers on public finance and public management in developing countries.

This investment aims to take preliminary steps towards establishing a community of researchers on public finance and public management in developing countries. It will do so primarily through a series of four workshops convened by the Blavatnik School of Government to identify potential members of such a community and the policymakers who could benefit from it, and to bring them together into cross-disciplinary discussions. The workshops will emphasise the participation of scholars from and/or based in developing countries. These workshops would provide the foundations for longer-term development and engagement of this research community and its connections to policymakers in government.
