Madhuri Agarwal, Michelle Kaffenberger, and Lori Kilburn at the What Works Hub for Global Education have published an article exploring the five key findings from a survey of 146 stakeholders working on foundational learning in low- and middle-income countries, drawn from governments, NGOs, funders and research organisations.
The survey found that practical guidance for programme design and implementation was the most universally valued evidence output across all stakeholder groups, with 86% saying their primary use of evidence was building their own knowledge and expertise.
