Dr Emily Jones, Associate Professor in Public Policy, has provided a submission on trade policy post-Brexit to the UK Department of International Trade.

As part of preparations for leaving the European Union, the UK government is designing its future trade policy. With input from a team of researchers, Dr Jones (who is also Director of the Global Economic Governance Programme) proposed measures to ensure that trade policy-making is transparent and inclusive, and supports sustainable development both in the UK and around the world. The submission incorporated lessons learnt from the experiences of other countries, on which the UK government can build.
