The House of Commons Foreign Affairs Committee has recently published a report on the UK's responsibility to act on atrocities in Xinjiang which includes evidence by the Oxford Institute for Ethics, Law and Conflict (ELAC).

Federica D’Alessandra, Executive Director, and Kirsty Sutherland, Visiting Fellow of Practice of the Oxford Programme on International Peace and Security (part of ELAC) provided written evidence which has been quoted in the report.

The report makes recommendations for the UK government including a strategy for atrocity prevention and moving formal for special sessions of the United Nations General Assembly and the United Nations Human Rights Council to find solutions to the crisis.
