Ciaran Martin, Professor of Practice in the Management of Public Organisations, gave oral evidence to the UK's Foreign Affairs Committee as part of its inquiry into the role of the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) in blocking foreign asset stripping in the UK.

The inquiry examines how the FCDO assesses whether a potentially hostile party is seeking to secure significant influence or control over a UK company and in what circumstances the FCDO should intervene. The evidence provided by Ciaran focused on these considerations in the context of the technology sector.
