I see policy scientists as social boundary spanners: people who have the capability to not only understand and make better use of the ingredients of public policies, but to make a real difference in people’s lives. I am currently working as a media specialist and training program coordinator for the China Aid Program – Workshop on Technical Cooperation Project of Education in South Sudan, initiated by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce and the China South Group (CNS). Previously, I interned at the State Council, Development Research Center (DRC), and participated in the construction of think tank databases for the Chinese government. My longest professional experience was at the Education Management Information Center of Chinese Ministry of Education, which lasted two years. I served also as an assistant at a Beijing-based UNESCO research center (UNESCO-INRULED). My policy interests include educational development, management of administrative data, and international aid for less developed countries.
