Hailing from a small town Choa Saiden Shah in District Chakwal, Pakistan, I have traveled a long way to be a Chevening Scholar at the Blavatnik School of Government, Oxford University. After my early education in a village school, I acquired an MSc in International Relations from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad. Throughout my academic career, I have assumed various leadership roles from being head girl at school to a council member at university. This experience enabled me to get elected to the Youth Parliament of Pakistan. I started my professional career with an internship at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and later joined Civil Services of Pakistan. Currently, as a Public Relations Officer at the Ministry of Climate Change, I mainly manage media and assist in climate change policies. I have initiated various campaigns involving youth to combat climate change impact at grassroots level. I have represented Pakistan at various international forums, notably COP meetings. My policy interests include the environment and media.
