Yujie has a background in the social sciences and a longstanding interest in international public service. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Social Work from East China Normal University, where she was awarded several national scholarships. She is also interested in China’s economic foreign policy and its engagement with the international community, particularly the EU and the UK, through dialogue, policy exchange, and cross-cultural understanding.
Alongside her academic work, Yujie remains engaged in community initiatives that encourage youth leadership and social entrepreneurship. She serves as a curator at the World Economic Forum Global Shapers Shanghai Zizhu Hub.
