Yetunde is a Nigeria-trained legal practitioner with expertise in anti-corruption. She hold a bachelor’s degree in law from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria and works in a Nigerian Federal anti-graft agency. Yetunde has extensive experience in leading prosecution-led investigations, asset recovery and prosecuting Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs) in high-profile corruption cases. Additionally, she is a member of Nigeria’s Expert Review Team for the United Nations Convention Against Corruption (UNCAC) under its implementation review mechanism. Based on these experiences, Yetunde offers opinions and legal advisories form the basis of important advisories to government for policy review in the anti-corruption effort.
Her key policy interests include transparency and accountability in governance, digital governance and e-government, international anti-corruption cooperation, whistle-blower protection.
Yetunde is a Mastercard Foundation Scholar under the Africa Oxford Initiative (AfOx).
