biography

Winnie is from Kenya, with over three years of experience working in the international development space. Currently, Winnie works at IDinsight, a not-for-profit organisation with a mission of combating poverty worldwide, where she has managed teams and projects across sectors to support development leaders, including government actors, in generating and using evidence to amplify their impact.

Winnie's interests lie at the intersection of policy, practice, and people. She is particularly passionate about policy reforms and scalable interventions geared toward improving the quality of life of the most vulnerable in society. She aims to use her skill set and expertise to contribute to the reduction of poverty by promoting sustainable development through good governance in Kenya and across Africa.

Winnie hopes that the MPP programme and the experience she gains at Oxford will enhance her skills and prepare her for an impactful career.
