Will is a public servant from Melbourne, Australia. In his current role at the Department of Justice in the state of Victoria, he has worked on several high-priority reforms to the youth justice system. In a previous public service role, he helped to establish Victoria's government-owned renewable energy company.
Prior to this, he worked as a commercial lawyer and then in public sector management consulting. As a management consultant, he undertook a pro-bono secondment in the remote East Kimberley region of Australia where he supported the development of Indigenous-led policies and programmes. He completed a Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctor at the University of Melbourne.
Through the MPP, Will hopes to develop his capacity to deliver evidence-based and complex policy reforms, including by learning about innovative approaches to policy design.
