My name is Tan Weijie and I am from China. I studied Government and Economics at Peking University, where I served as class president, research assistant, teaching assistant (for undergraduate and graduate courses), among others. After my undergraduate degree, I was selected to join the inaugural class of Schwarzman Scholars and studied for my first Master's degree (Economics and Business) at Tsinghua University. After Oxford, I am going to Harvard Business School for my MBA. I have been an intern in Chinese local government, and at the United Nations Headquarters, Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and Morgan Stanley. Currently I am interning at China International Capital Corporation (CICC) Investment Banking Department. I am a National Athlete and I work out every day. I am also a Global Shaper selected by the World Economic Forum. I am very interested in the financial regulation policy and hope to leverage my experience in both public sector and private sector to make a difference in financial regulation.
