Born and raised around Sao Paulo, Brazil, Vitor Tomaz has a background in engineering and almost four years of experience in consulting, mostly for private companies, and more recently for non-profit organisations.
Having worked with more than 20 different organisations, Vitor developed an interest in what makes some of them so effective, while others struggle to deliver their mandates, especially in the third sector and government. He likes to look at these challenges through the lenses of governance, talent and strategy, and is pursuing an MPP to become better able to help such organisations overcome their struggles.
Vitor is also interested in the production and usage of evidence for policymaking and implementation, as he believes that these are commonly overlooked or misunderstood themes that are key for turning social needs into working solutions. Vitor is a Lemann Scholar.
