Vinay is an NHS dentist who graduated from Barts and the London School of Dentistry in 2018. He serves his local community by treating their oral disease and by educating them in prevention. In 2019, he worked as a junior head and neck surgeon at Northwick Park Hospital, London. Halfway through this role, he was redeployed to the Intensive Care Unit due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Vinay returned to lead the proning team during the second wave of the pandemic on Christmas Eve 2020. As a Public Policy & Government Affairs Consultant for {my}dentist, the largest provider of NHS dentistry in the UK, Vinay’s responsibility has been to devise policies to improve access to dental care across the country. He is a British Hindu and led the largest British Hindu youth group in the country. Vinay is a proponent of increased community cohesion through interfaith dialogue. As a member of the Conservative Party, he hopes to run for public office in the near future. Vinay believes in building a fairer society by increasing the opportunities people have to improve their own lives.
