Valeria is from Pereira, a city in the heart of Colombia's coffee zone. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Government, a specialisation in Political Marketing and Campaign Strategies, and a Master’s degree in Political Communication. Valeria excels as a political consultant, contributing to over twenty campaigns and governments in Colombia, Peru, Honduras, Ecuador, and Mexico. Her problem-solving approach extends to advising senators, serving as the Private Secretary to the Minister of Trade, and providing public affairs consulting for companies in various sectors. She has also collaborated with international NGOs, leading workshops and mentoring on political strategy with a gender perspective, engaging over 200 marginalized women in 12 cities across Colombia.
Passionate about feminising politics and increasing the participation and representation of women in public positions of power, Valeria is pursuing the MPP, committed to transforming the Colombian political landscape and eliminating gender bias.
