biography

Alan (Tung Wong) is a public policy researcher from the vibrant city of Hong Kong. He has six years of experience at MWYO, a prominent local think tank, focusing on youth development policy, stakeholder engagement and implementing solutions.

Prior to this Alan authored research papers (e.g., Blueprint for Hong Kong Youth Development) and funnelled his findings into a mobile application, a board game, and a TV program to reach young people in a more engaging way. He has also led community projects to experiment with his research initiatives, such as two district-based Participatory Budgeting schemes and a Citizen Consensus Conference. He was a host in Metro Broadcast and HOY TV and an intern at the 2017 Hong Kong Chief Executive Election Campaign office of Carrie Lam. Alan holds a BA in Creative Media from City University of Hong Kong.
