Breadcrumb
I grew up in Shanghai and migrated to Australia at the age of 17. After graduating from the University of Sydney as a Bachelor of Commerce, I began my international tax career at KPMG Australia and progressed to director within 10 years. I have serviced over 100 multinational corporations and led many significant projects in collaboration with colleagues from various jurisdictions and functional areas.
I joined the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) in 2015 as a senior economist and director within the international division. I have contributed significantly to the capability building of the ATO and tax administrations within ASPAC, represented the ATO in various forums, and assisted in introducing new tax legislation.
Policy areas of interest to me include the taxation of multinational companies, capability building and international dispute resolution. I regularly deliver lectures and seminars at various universities in China and Australia. I am also interested in ballet, piano and reading.
