For the last six years, Tiffany has been a policy advisor in the UK Government working on high-profile policy issues including Brexit, the Union, and artificial intelligence. Most recently, she was a Principal Policy Advisor at the AI Security Institute, the UK Government organisation that assesses frontier AI model capabilities and risks. In 2025, Tiffany was a seasonal fellow at the Centre for the Governance of AI (GovAI). Before transitioning into AI policy, she worked at the Scotland Office as Private Secretary to the Secretary of State for Scotland and as a Senior Constitutional Policy Advisor leading on primary legislation. She also worked at the Department for International Trade as a Trade Disputes Policy Advisor, Trade and Investment Advisor, and Private Secretary to the Minister for Exports. Tiffany holds a first class degree in history from the University of Edinburgh and was previously a Junior Policy Fellow at the Centre for Science and Policy at the University of Cambridge.
