Taiki hails from Japan. In his career in public service, he would like to deliver a sustainable and affordable energy supply in Japan to improve living standards and encourage company activities. Taiki joined the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) in 2009 where he has overseen energy (electricity, oil and gas), Fukushima reconstruction, and IT industry policies. He plans to tackle the energy crisis facing Japan faces in his future career, utilising his knowledge and skills to revise the energy policy and the Fukushima reconstruction policy in Japan.
