biography

Tahlia is an experienced international affairs practitioner from Australia with area expertise in Latin America and the Asia Pacific.

Throughout her career, she has worked for the French Government in the education sector, the Ecuadorian Government in diplomacy and the Australian Government in the fields of counter-fraud and international trade, as well as various international NGOs. Tahlia is passionate about bringing empathy and understanding to public policy as well as bridging the gap between government and community. She is multi-lingual and has used her language skills as a volunteer translator and interpreter for migrant communities.

Tahlia has also co-authored publications on topics including actioning the Sustainable Development Goals and cross-border collaboration to achieve the UN 2030 Agenda, and has qualitative and quantitative research experience examining inequalities in the outer-space sector.

Tahlia is a Rhodes Scholar.
