biography

After graduating from Korea University with a degree in Business Administration, Su Kyung worked as a journalist for over a decade at The Chosun Ilbo, South Korea's largest media group with approximately 2 million readers, founded in 1920. Throughout her tenure at the most influential daily newspaper and TV channel, Su Kyung monitored authority, covered social issues, and advocated for justice and the public interest. Su Kyung's articles have led to significant social changes; exposed corruption involving a leading presidential candidate, influencing the election's outcome; reported on weaknesses within the prosecution system, prompting internal reforms; uncovered corruption involving the CEO and board members of the world's third-largest steel company, resulting in his dismissal; and highlighted the human rights of crime victims, contributing to legislative changes.

She aims to address the severe gender conflicts recently emerging among South Korea's younger generation and the accompanying social issues.
