Stephanie Zughbi is currently based in Canberra and serves as a health policy adviser at the Australian Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet. 

Stephanie has advised on a range of subjects including hospital funding, First Nations health and the domestic response to COVID-19. Prior to this, Stephanie worked as a Cabinet adviser in the department. She has also worked as a lawyer at a leading commercial law firm in Sydney (focusing on commercial disputes and investigations) and at a refugee legal centre. 

Stephanie has a broad interest in social and economic policy, particularly in health, migration and education. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Chinese Studies) and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Sydney, and recently completed a Graduate Certificate in Economics at the Australian National University.
