Born and raised in the central area of mainland China, Siqi, known as Sukie, is dedicated to improving education equality and has a profound interest in gender issues. She recently graduated from Tsinghua University with a BA in English and a minor in International Politics and was an exchange student at Cornell University in the College of Arts and Sciences.

Previously, Sukie worked in several private sectors and UN Women China to gain experience in public affairs and government-enterprise cooperation. During her undergraduate studies, she engaged in volunteer programs contributing to education improvement in underdeveloped areas of China. She was also an active student journalist covering reports on social affairs and policy changes before.

Sukie hopes to utilise the knowledge and skills to promote gender equality from various dimensions.
