Siaka was an Assistant Director in the Federal Inland Revenue Service in Nigeria, with 18 years of private and public sector experience in banking and treasury operations, risk, project, grant, and public financial management. His interest lies in exploring how developing countries can effectively deploy technology and design digitalisation policies that enhance public service accountability, transparency, governance, and responsiveness.
Over the years, Siaka has designed and implemented projects to support effective service delivery and develop human capital for positive economic outcomes. At the West African Tax Administration Forum, he helped develop its governance structure and the Domestic Revenue Mobilisation framework to improve the capacity of Tax Administrations to close the gap in finance for development.
Siaka holds a BSc Accounting from Ahmadu Bello University, Nigeria, a Development Finance MSc. from the University of Manchester, UK and is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
