After years of being in the development sector in Tajikistan and beyond, Shuhratjon is looking forward to joining the School to further understand the vital role of policymaking and governance in solving societal challenges.

Shuhratjon has experience working with numerous international development agencies such as UNICEF, UNDP, GIZ, WHO, and co-founded two ventures - a nonprofit skills accelerator, 'ilmhona,' operating in Tajikistan, and a social impact consultancy, Risha Solutions, operating in Central and South Asia. His areas of policy interest revolve around transforming the landscape of education and skill-building, and the role of IT and digitalisation in promoting inclusive economic growth in developing countries.

Shuhratjon has also become intensely interested in the impact of climate change and the race humanity is engaged in to address this multi-generational threat to the planet's future.
