biography

Shreeya was born in Ahmedabad, India and grew up in the state of Florida, graduating from Yale University with a major in history and a focus in South Asian studies.

She is passionate about human rights and equitable social policy, and completed a Master's in Global Governance and Diplomacy at Oxford. At Yale, Shreeya was the founder of Students Against Hindutva Ideology, from which she organised nationwide protests against India's anti-muslim policies. Shreeya has also competed at the global and national level in parliamentary debates and is a passionate artist her free time. Shreeya has worked in multiple congressional offices, for the President's Office of the International Rescue Committee (IRC), as well as in advertising for a 2020 American presidential campaign. She hopes to focus on work that advances human rights across the globe and intends to attend law school after completing the MPP.

Shreeya is a Rhodes Scholar.
