Sean Marshall is the Communications Officer for the Children and Climate Initiative. He is responsible for promoting and building the profile of the project and supporting its impact ambitions.
Prior to joining the school in May 2025 Sean worked on a range of climate-related documentaries including Attenborough’s Life in Colour (BBC/Stan), A Fire Inside (FINCH), Regenerating Australia (Regen Studios), Future Council (Regen Studios) as a researcher and impact producer. He also has experience working in communications for environmental organisations including the Australian Conservation Foundation and CPRE London.
Sean holds a Political Science degree from the University of Sydney, a master’s of Documentary Filmmaking from the Australian Film Television and Radio School, and a master’s of Climate Change from the Australian National University. His research on community engagement for a Just Transition in central Queensland was published in Environmental Politics.
