Samriddha (Sam) has worked at the intersection of diplomacy, policy, and executive communications for the Canadian government. Most recently, he served as Senior Communications Advisor to Prime Minister Mark Carney, where he was responsible for speeches, strategic narrative, and international communiques. Sam has accompanied the Prime Minister on bilateral visits and to summits such as the G7, G20, NATO, UNGA, and the World Economic Forum. Previously, he advised Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and several cabinet ministers, specialising in strategic communications across foreign affairs, defence, and trade. In his roles, he helped shape Canada’s domestic and international engagements in a period of intense change.

Sam is interested in reducing silos across policymaking and better responding to the intersections between energy, defence, and technology. He holds a Master of Political Management and a Bachelor of Global and International Studies from Carleton University.
