Samriddha is joining the Blavatnik School from the Office of the Prime Minister of Canada, where he currently serves as Senior Communications Advisor to Prime Minister Mark Carney. He has worked at the intersection of diplomacy, public policy, and executive communications, shaping strategy across foreign affairs, defence, energy, infrastructure, and artificial intelligence. As a member of the Prime Minister's delegations to twenty countries across five continents, Samriddha has seen how bilateral and multilateral partnerships are secured. Previously, he advised Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and successive Canadian Ministers of National Defence, and began his career in public opinion research. Samriddha is interested in reducing silos between foreign and domestic industrial policy, deploying global capital into strategic industries, and harnessing emerging technologies for development. He holds a Master of Political Management and a Bachelor of Global and International Studies from Carleton University.
