Salma Ait Hssayene
For the last four years, I have been a strategy consultant at Dalberg Advisors. Since joining Dalberg, I have worked with governments, bi- and multi-lateral donors and foundations to develop strategies and design programmes across multiple sectors and African countries. For instance, my work included co-developing the 2017–2025 agriculture strategy in Côte d'Ivoire, advising the US government on designing a US$35 million government support programme in Togo, and supporting the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to identify ways to scale up their impact in Africa through working with regional institutions such as the African Union.
Prior to Dalberg, I graduated from the College of Wooster in Ohio and from the African Leadership Academy in South Africa. As an MPP student, I would like to build on my previous experiences to further understand and contribute to public sector transformation (strategy formulation and implementation) in Africa.
