Sabah is the daughter of Pakistani immigrants to the United States and is a Muslim-American. She most recently completed her undergraduate studies in Finance at the University of Utah. 

Her interests lie primarily in the intersection of finance and criminal justice and are shaped by her experiences in financial crime prevention at Goldman Sachs, legislative research at the Utah Attorney General's Office, and special projects for the President of her undergraduate institution. 

The MPP is the first of two degrees that Sabah will be undertaking at Oxford through the Rhodes Scholarship. She is grateful for the opportunity to learn from faculty, staff, and her peers at Oxford and subsequently plans to attend law school in the US. Sabah hopes to use her studies to pursue her passion for utilising financial and economic regulation to ensure accountability and equity in global markets.
