Ruud van Druenen is a senior auditor and methodological expert at the Netherlands Court of Audit and assistant professor of Public Administration at Radboud University (the Netherlands). He obtained his PhD in Public Administration at Radboud University in 2022 and published in Journal of Common Market Studies, Journal of European Public Policy, and Journal of Public Policy.

Ruud’s current research interests include policy evaluation and the use of evidence in policy-making. At the Blavatnik School, Ruud will be conducting research on the impact of performance audits on government departments and the strategic use of audit reports in parliaments.
