biography

Growing up in a rapidly changing China, I witnessed China's increasing engagement in transnational development. This inspired me to improve efficacy in multilateral aid disbursement collaborations. My professional experience bridges development practice and policy evaluation with enhanced human mobility.

As event manager for a local NGO, I curated refugee art exhibitions and implemented online education programmes and workshops to raise awareness of and support refugees throughout China. At UNHCR in Beijing and Carnegie-Tsinghua Center for Global Policy, I analysed the Chinese government's policy considerations and visions towards refugees.

As an undergraduate, I majored in international politics through a tri-programme in mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, and published my honours thesis on the protection of underprivileged Filipino migrant workers. My policy interests are migration law, international development and China's increasing global engagement.
