Roman is from Switzerland and holds Bachelor’s degrees in Business and in International Affairs from the University of St Gallen, and a Master’s degree in International Relations from Sciences Po Paris. At the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority Roman serves as Sherpa to the President, advising on international engagement in multilateral fora and representing Switzerland in international financial standard-setting bodies. Roman previously worked at the OECD on G20 and G7 engagement. His policy interests include the resilience of financial systems, the governance of international cooperation, and the role of technology in financial supervision. He is motivated by the ambition to contribute to resilient financial systems that foster stability and sustainable growth.
