Rola is a Palestinian refugee from Lebanon and a passionate advocate for health and education equity. Raised amidst adversity, Rola developed a keen awareness of the health and education challenges displaced populations face. Her academic journey in health communication at the American University of Beirut (AUB) and her practical experiences have driven her enthusiasm for evidence-based policies.

Rola has worked on campaigns addressing health and education needs in Syrian & Palestinian refugee camps and engaged in projects like Amenah and Osra, which focus on delaying early marriages among refugee girls. She is dedicated to crafting inclusive policies that cater to marginalised communities. Rola aspires to become a researcher and policy leader in global health, striving for equitable healthcare solutions. She wants to be a changemaker in her Palestinian refugee community.
