Hailing from Australia, Roger works at the intersection of energy and transport policy, helping shape Australia’s path to net zero. Since joining the Australian Public Service (APS) in 2018, he contributed to energy market reforms and major infrastructure projects across policy, regulatory and program design roles. Alongside his policy work, Roger is an advocate for cultural and linguistic diversity across Australian Government agencies, championing efforts to build racial literacy, improve senior-level representation, and drive systemic change toward a more empathetic public service. At Oxford, he looks forward to deepening his understanding of strategies that support the timely and equitable uptake of electric vehicles (EVs). Roger is particularly interested in policies that expand access to EVs and build resilience across the broader economy. This reflects his commitment to a people-centred energy transition shaped by inclusive and innovative policymaking.
